Westmore School-wide Bridging Ceremony:

The Daisies from Troop 2748 performed a song with the musical instruments they had made as part of the Brownie MUSIC try-it. Then they crossed the bridge into Brownies. The Brownies of Troops 79 & 482 welcomed the new Brownies.

Each Brownie Troop sang a song. Troop 482 sang "Make New Friends" and our troop, Troop 79 sang "Weave". The third grade Brownies then sang a Bridging song that they had composed for the occasion. Our two troops then sent our 3rd graders across the bridge into Juniors. We waved goodbye to GRACE, SUSAN, LA JUAN, & NATALIE. Troop 543 welcomed the new Juniors. Each Bridging Junior received her Fly-up Wings, Bridging Patch and Jr. Dabblers-Arts Badge. The Brownie Troops presented the new Juniors with a Junior handbook.

Troop 543 also said goodbye to the sixth grade girls moving on to Cadettes. Cadette Troop 1534 was on hand to welcome the bridging girls.

As each girl crossed the bridge, she was presented with a rose.

We ended the evening with ...FOOD , of course! Lots of snacks left over from troop camp-outs, and cake and punch.
