Bring a Friend Meeting
May 26th, we had our "Bring-A-Friend" meeting.
Five of our girls brought friends to join us.
We had our Brownielympics (Ready, Set, Go Try-It).
We stretched and ran in place.
Then we had a newspaper relay,
a balloon bounce relay,
and a potato-spoon race.
Then came everyone's favorite: the obstacle course.
Each participant received a medal and a blow pop.
For snack that day, we introduced our non-scouting friends to
s'mores. (The cheater kind, with marshmallow creme!).
It was a fun day for all.
We hope some of our new friends will become Brownies next year!
