Family Picnic
June 20th was the day of our troop family picnic. It rained, and rained
and rained
some more. That didn't stop a few die-hard Scout families! Once again,
we had
the event at Lacey's house. We had the tarps up, so there WERE dry
spots.
Each family that came brought a dish to share. The troop supplied hot
dogs and
buns.
The girls tried out the jousting boards and poles; ran around in the
rain, and
had a good time. Of course, we had s'mores to end the day! Even with the
low (rain
induced ) turn-out, those that came had a great time!
