Variety Show

March brought us to the Girl Scout Birthday. To celebrate 88 years of Girl Scouts, Troop 79 hosted The Second Annual Girl Scout / Family Variety Show. We invited all the troops in our school.

We practiced; refined; changed our minds; practiced the new acts... made decorations; and practiced some more.

Finally, the big night arrived. On March 31, we had our birthday celebration. We had girls singing, dancing, playing piano, lip synching. We also had an original puppet show, and skits.

And everyone had fun! Scouts from troops 79, 482 & 2581 participated in the show. Troop 482 performed "Scouting Through the Years", showing us how changes in the world around us affect Scouting. Troop 79 sang and performed "Yes She Can". This is the song we learned in conjunction with the Careers & Her Story Try its.

Saving the goofiest for last, Ms. Pam & Ms. Beth performed. ( NOT "There's A Hole In My Bucket"!) But a really bad rendition of "Don't Put Your Finger Up Your Nose". As usual, we ended the show on a hilarious note.

Happy Birthday Girl Scouts!
